See full collection here.As many of you know, I grew up on the Mississippi. In the middle of Clinton, Iowa, there is a length of high limestone bluffs, a reminder of where the river flowed before the New Madrid quake bounced it out of its bed and further east. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of launching an entire river, one of the largest in the world, right out of its banks suddenly and violently.
It’s totally a thing, and I’ve got it bad.
