I didn’t realize you were in the UK. But none the less, really? I am actually surprised. One semester of Economics and one semester of Government are graduation requirements here. At least where i went to school. I can’t speak for the whole country. I am sure there are things you get that we wish were standard. Like art. It isn’t even offered at some schools. Or music. Anyway… My school was in the UK, where the focus is much more academic and less practical it seems. We didn’t have ‘autoshop’ and economics only…
The funny thing is that California schools are supposed to be low ranked in rhe US, but I had all of the above at the schools I went to.
